What's Happening?
REWE Group in Germany is testing self-driving vehicles for grocery delivery in a pilot project in Bochum. Partnering with Swiss technology company Loxo, the project involves using a VW ID. Buzz equipped
with Loxo's Digital Driver software, operating at level 4 of autonomous driving capability. Despite the vehicle's autonomous capabilities, a safety driver will be present on each journey to ensure customer safety.
