What's Happening?
Hale Farm & Village, located near Akron, Ohio, will host its annual Maple Sugar Festival & Pancake Breakfast over three weekends in March. The event, a longstanding tradition in the Cuyahoga Valley, celebrates the history and process of maple sugaring. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe live demonstrations of maple tree tapping and sap boiling, showcasing techniques that originated with Native Americans. The festival also includes historic cooking and craft displays, draft animal demonstrations, and insights into 19th-century farm life.
