SAG-AFTRA has announced the launch of a new podcast titled 'I Am An Actor,' set to debut on May 7. The podcast is inspired by the traditional speeches given by actors at the Actor Awards, where they share their origin stories and conclude with the phrase,
'I am an actor.' Hosted by Actor Awards showrunner Jon Brockett and actor Jamie Chung, the podcast will feature a range of guests from the acting community. The first season will include notable actors such as Quinta Brunson, Kate Hudson, Mariska Hargitay, and Kerry Washington, among others. Each episode, lasting between 40 to 60 minutes, will delve into the personal and professional journeys of these actors, exploring their career milestones and current projects. The podcast will be available on major platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, with new episodes released every Thursday.
