Applied Nutrition, a UK-based sports nutrition company, has acquired the majority of assets from the US-based Nutrablend Group for $16 million. This acquisition includes a production and logistics facility in Buffalo, New York, which is equipped with
powder and stick-pack filling lines. The deal also brings Nutrablend's in-house supplement brands, Basic Supplements and GR8 Lifestyle, under Applied Nutrition's umbrella. The acquisition is expected to enhance Applied Nutrition's footprint in North America, allowing the company to meet future customer demand and reduce logistics costs. The company plans to shift some of its manufacturing operations from the UK to the new facility, which is anticipated to generate up to $300 million in revenue annually.
