The company is developing its own AI system, which is trained on its product catalog to provide size advice and product recommendations. This has led to a 13% increase in items added to shopping baskets or wish lists and an 8% reduction in size-related returns. Zalando is collaborating with Moonshot AI, a Chinese AI company, to enhance its language model, which has already reached over six million users.
