Graphite One is advancing its plans to develop an anode active materials facility in Ohio, USA. The site, located in Conneaut, Ashtabula, was secured through a license agreement with Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad Company. The facility aims to produce
10,000 tonnes annually, with phase one targeting 4,000 tonnes of energy storage material, 3,000 tonnes of fast-charging material, and 3,000 tonnes of high-energy density material. These materials will support lithium-ion battery applications for electric vehicles and energy storage. Graphite One is also considering a second-phase expansion to increase production capacity.
