What's Happening?
CrowdStrike, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and NVIDIA have announced the selection of 35 startups for their third annual Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator. This initiative is designed to accelerate the development of AI-driven cloud security innovations by offering mentorship, technical resources, and potential funding opportunities. The selected startups, chosen from hundreds of global applicants, will participate in an eight-week program that runs until March 3, 2026. The program focuses on supporting startups that are building cloud- and identity-first defenses, which are crucial in an era where security teams face increasingly sophisticated AI-empowered adversaries. Participants will benefit from mentorship, technical expertise, and go-to-market
support, as well as access to the partner ecosystems of CrowdStrike, AWS, and NVIDIA.
Why It's Important?
The accelerator program is significant as it addresses the growing need for advanced cybersecurity solutions in the face of increasingly complex digital threats. By leveraging the combined strengths of CrowdStrike's cybersecurity expertise, AWS's cloud infrastructure, and NVIDIA's AI computing capabilities, the program aims to empower startups to develop innovative security technologies. This initiative not only supports the growth of new companies in the cybersecurity sector but also contributes to the broader effort to enhance digital security on a global scale. The program's focus on AI-driven solutions highlights the importance of integrating artificial intelligence into cybersecurity strategies to keep pace with evolving threats.
What's Next?
The program will culminate in a final pitch day for five finalists at the RSA Conference in San Francisco on March 24, 2026. An expert panel will select one innovation award winner, who may receive investment from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund. This event provides a platform for the most promising startups to showcase their innovations and potentially secure additional funding to further develop their technologies. The outcomes of this accelerator could lead to the introduction of new, market-shaping cybersecurity solutions that address current and future digital threats.
