Fred Allor, an 87-year-old horse racing enthusiast from Fenton, Michigan, has acquired Citizen Judy, a 4-year-old filly, for $230,000 during the Fasig-Tipton Digital April Sale. Citizen Judy, consigned by Eaton Sales, is believed to be in foal to Girvin
and is a half-sister to Percy's Bar, a leading candidate for the upcoming GI Longines Kentucky Oaks. Why It's Important?
The acquisition of Citizen Judy highlights the ongoing interest and investment in the horse racing industry, particularly in breeding and racing prospects. Fred Allor's purchase reflects the value placed on bloodstock with promising pedigrees and racing potential. The sale also underscores the significance of digital platforms like Fasig-Tipton in facilitating transactions within the industry, providing buyers and sellers with accessible opportunities.
