What's Happening?
Syracuse University's Olympic sports teams have received significant recognition for their performances. Bo van Kempen, a standout in field hockey, was named the NFHCA Mideast Regional Player of the Year
and is a candidate for the National Player of the Year. The NFHCA will announce its Division I All-America teams soon. In cross country, Head Coach Brien Bell was honored as the ACC Coach of the Year after leading the men's team to a fourth-place finish at the NCAA championships. Additionally, Sam Lawler and Peter Walsdorf earned All-America honors. In rowing, six Syracuse women have been invited to national team camps, with athletes heading to camps in Australia, Canada, Great Britain, and New Zealand. The rowing team is set to begin their 2026 season at the Doc Hosea Invitational in New Jersey on March 28.
