The stage adaptation of the popular horror film franchise 'Paranormal Activity' is set to make its Broadway debut. The production, titled 'Paranormal Activity – A New Story Live on Broadway,' will begin performances on August 14 at the August Wilson Theatre,
with an official opening on September 15. The play, written by Levi Holloway and directed by Felix Barrett, follows a new couple, James and Lou, who move from Chicago to London to escape their past, only to find that people, not places, are haunted. The production has already seen success with sold-out runs in London's West End, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and San Francisco. Jason Blum, founder and CEO of Blumhouse, the original producer of the film franchise, joins the producing team for the Broadway run.
