The Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) has announced that it is now accepting applications for its Workforce Pathways Program. This initiative is designed to support local businesses in Stutsman County by providing them with financial incentives
to create paid, career-focused opportunities for college juniors and seniors. Eligible employers can receive up to $3,500 in payroll reimbursement for each participant, which covers up to 50% of the payroll costs. The program aims to facilitate workforce development and long-term talent retention in the region by offering students real-world experience and a potential pathway to full-time employment after graduation. To qualify, opportunities must pay at least $15 per hour, and participants must be college juniors, seniors, or within two years of completing their program. Employers must apply before the participant begins work, and internships do not need to be for academic credit, although it is encouraged. The work experience must take place in Stutsman County, and there must be a full-time position available for the participant to transition into after graduation.
