PortMiami has commenced the 2025-2026 cruise season by setting a new daily passenger record, handling 75,201 passengers on November 30. This marks the third record set by the port this year, following
previous records in February and March. The port, known as the cruise capital of the world, continues to expand its facilities, including the recent opening of the new AA Terminal. This terminal primarily serves MSC cruise ships, including the newly introduced MSC World America. The port is also constructing another terminal to replace an existing facility. PortMiami plans to add 10 new cruise ships to its roster this season, with several major cruise lines, including Cunard and Holland America, homeporting ships there for the first time.
