Leonardo Hotels Central Europe is set to expand its international presence by opening its first hotel in Portugal. The Hotel Corpus Christi Lisboa, located in the historic district of Baixa, Lisbon, is scheduled to open in October 2026. This 132-room

The new hotel is expected to enhance the city's hospitality offerings, potentially boosting local tourism and economy. Additionally, the expansion into Italy and Poland highlights the company's commitment to strengthening its presence in key European markets, which could lead to increased competition and innovation in the hospitality industry.
What's Next?
Following the opening in Lisbon, Leonardo Hotels plans to continue its expansion in Italy and Poland, focusing on reinforcing existing structures and increasing its presence in new destinations. The company aims to tap into specific opportunities for business and leisure travelers, potentially leading to further hotel openings and brand diversification. Stakeholders in the hospitality industry, including local businesses and tourism boards, may respond by enhancing their own offerings to remain competitive.
