The study found that participants ate 28% less and 30% slower when consuming the spicier salsa. This suggests that spicier foods may naturally slow down eating pace, allowing the body more time to signal fullness, potentially reducing overeating. Additionally, cayenne pepper, a key ingredient in the spicy salsa, is noted for its minor fat oxidation benefits, which are often utilized in fat-burning supplements.
