Kraft Hockeyville has announced the 13 Provincial and Territorial winners who will compete for the grand prize in the 2027 contest. The winning community will receive $250,000 for arena upgrades and the opportunity to host an NHL preseason game. This
year marks the 20th anniversary of the Kraft Hockeyville initiative, which has expanded its format to include one community from each Canadian province and territory. Each finalist will receive a $10,000 donation in new hockey equipment from NHLPA Goals & Dreams and the NHL/NHLPA Industry Growth Fund. Additionally, 11 of these communities will be awarded $50,000 for rink upgrades. The final two communities will be revealed on March 21, with public voting taking place on April 3-4. The winner will be announced during 'Hockey Night in Canada' on April 4. The runner-up will receive $100,000 for rink upgrades. Since its inception in 2006, Kraft Hockeyville has awarded $5.4 million to over 105 communities, with 19 grand prize winners.
