The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity has opened applications for the Going PRO Talent Fund, offering $6 million in grants to Michigan businesses. This initiative aims to close skill gaps and enhance workforce competitiveness by providing
training grants. Since its inception in 2014, the fund has awarded over $323.4 million, benefiting nearly 9,000 businesses and over 240,000 workers. The grants support various training models, including classroom instruction and on-the-job training, tailored to meet specific industry needs. Applications are open until April 24, 2026, with awards announced in June.
