The Maple Producers of Northeast Ohio have initiated their annual 'How Sweet It Is! Ohio Maple Trail,' a self-guided tour of local sugarhouses in Geauga County. The event, which began on March 7, will continue on March 8, 14, and 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Participants have the opportunity to explore various sugarhouses and learn about the production of maple syrup, a significant local industry. Among the participants is Richards Maple Products, a fourth-generation family business celebrating its 116th year.
