HP has successfully exceeded its 2025 sustainability targets, focusing on climate and waste reduction through the use of renewable energy and recycling. The company achieved 100% renewable electricity in its U.S. operations and 66% globally. HP has also
surpassed its goal of reducing supplier CO2e emissions by cutting 2.47 million tonnes, exceeding the target of two million tonnes set for the period between 2010 and 2024. Additionally, HP has recycled 1.21 million tonnes of hardware and supplies since 2016 and eliminated 72% of single-use plastic packaging compared to 2018. The company’s Designed for Circularity initiative, launched in 1992, continues to guide the development and design of products, with 96% of HP home and office products containing recycled content by 2025.
