What's Happening?
Princess Cruises celebrated the New Year by participating in the 137th Rose Parade in Pasadena, California, with a float themed 'Together in the Magic of Alaska.' The float, representing the cruise line's newest ship, Star Princess, showcased Alaska's natural beauty with intricate floral designs and animations. The float featured Alaskan wildlife, such as whales, sea otters, eagles, and bears, brought to life through animation. The design incorporated over 300,000 flowers and natural materials, including Blue Tweedia, symbolizing Alaska's state flower, the Forget-Me-Not. The float was designed by Artistic Entertainment Services and highlighted the upcoming 2026 Alaska season for Princess Cruises.
