Patel, who brings over 30 years of experience in legal roles across various sectors including consumer packaged goods, technology, and healthcare, will succeed George Yuhas, who is retiring. Patel's previous role was Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at The Clorox Company, where he led a team of over 20 legal professionals. At Central Garden & Pet, Patel will oversee all legal matters, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance. He will report directly to CEO Niko Lahanas.
