The Missouri track and field team concluded the SEC Outdoor Championships with several notable performances, achieving multiple top-10 finishes. Ames Burton led the team by placing seventh in the women's discus throw with a personal best of 54.79 meters.
In the women's 5,000-meter race, Monika Wanjiku finished sixth, while Kobi Walker and Allison Newman also secured top-30 placements. Lasse Funck achieved a sixth-place finish in the men's 1,500 meters. The team is now preparing for the NCAA West First Round in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where they will compete for a chance to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championship Final.
