The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District organized its annual Lucky Egg Hunt at Apollo Park in Homewood, attracting dozens of children aged 1 to 10. The event took place on a cool Saturday morning, March 28, and featured 4,000 eggs scattered across a field.
Among these eggs were several containing golden tickets, which entitled the finders to special prizes. The event began at 10 a.m., with children eagerly collecting as many eggs as possible. The Easter Bunny was also present, offering photo opportunities for the participants.
