The Cannes Classics section of the Cannes Film Festival is set to showcase a diverse lineup of restored films, including Guillermo del Toro's 'Pan’s Labyrinth' and Rob Cohen's 'The Fast and the Furious'. This year's edition, dedicated to the late production
designer Dean Tavoularis, will present 22 feature restorations, three shorts, and six documentaries. 'Pan’s Labyrinth' will be screened in a newly restored 4K version, marking its 20th anniversary, with del Toro attending the event. 'The Fast and the Furious' will be featured in a midnight slot with cast members Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster in attendance. The lineup spans various eras and continents, highlighting the festival's commitment to film heritage and restoration.
