What's Happening?
TomaGold has announced significant assay results from its Berrigan Mine project in Quebec, Canada. Drill-hole TOM-25-015 revealed mineralization with a zinc equivalent of 5.75% over 98.5 meters, indicating a new semi-massive sulphide zone called Berrigan Deep. This zone remains open for further exploration. Drill-hole TOM-25-014 also showed promising results, suggesting a westward extension of the vein system. The findings highlight the potential for a large mineralized system, with further drilling and geophysical surveys planned to assess its extent.
Why It's Important?
The discovery of a new mineralized zone at the Berrigan Mine could significantly enhance TomaGold's resource base, potentially leading to increased production and economic benefits. The results
underscore the importance of continued exploration in the Chibougamau mining camp, which could yield valuable insights into the region's mineral potential. Successful development of this project could attract further investment and boost the local economy, while also contributing to the global supply of critical minerals.
What's Next?
TomaGold plans to continue its drilling program, with results from additional drill-holes and a borehole geophysical electromagnetic survey expected soon. These efforts aim to further delineate the Berrigan Deep zone and assess its potential for commercial extraction. The company will also conduct 2D and 3D modeling to better understand the mineralization patterns and guide future exploration activities.
