Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) and PepsiCo have partnered to expand a regenerative agriculture program in Saskatchewan, Canada, focusing on sustainable canola farming. The initiative aims to help farmers adopt practices that improve soil health, reduce greenhouse
gas emissions, and protect local ecosystems. The program, which began in 2025, supported 16 farmers across 25,000 acres, producing 26,000 tons of canola under regenerative practices. It plans to expand to 45,000 acres in 2026. The program uses the Cool Farm Tool to track emissions and biodiversity, helping farmers monitor and improve their environmental impact.
