Omni Hotels & Resorts has inaugurated the Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel, a significant addition to the Broward County Convention Center District. The hotel features 801 guest rooms, including 82 suites, and
offers extensive amenities such as seven dining venues, a full-service Mokara Spa, a fitness center, and a large pool deck. The hotel also provides over 120,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including the 30,000-square-foot Waterway Ballroom. This opening is part of a collaborative effort with Broward County, Visit Lauderdale, and developer Matthews Southwest, expected to generate over $450 million for the local economy and create more than 3,000 jobs.
