Everllence is set to launch its new Engine Supported Air Lubrication (ESAL) system, designed to enhance fuel savings in maritime vessels. Unlike traditional systems that use electrically driven compressors, ESAL utilizes pressurized scavenge air from
the main engine, integrating the air supply into the engine architecture. This innovation eliminates the need for auxiliary compressors, reducing electrical consumption and improving system efficiency. The ESAL system is expected to deliver net fuel savings of approximately 3.5%, targeting large container vessels and LNG carriers. The technology is anticipated to be available by Q4 2026.
