Pendry Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Stephane Mercier as the general manager of Pendry Tampa, a new luxury hotel and residential development scheduled to open in 2027. Mercier brings over 35 years of experience in the global hospitality
industry, having worked across Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean. His previous roles include managing director of The National Hotel Miami Beach and general manager positions at the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead and Conrad Miami. Pendry Tampa will be located in downtown Tampa along the Riverwalk and will feature 220 guestrooms, 200 Pendry Residences, a three-meal restaurant, a lobby bar and lounge, a rooftop pool and lounge, Spa Pendry, a fitness center, the Paintbox children’s program, and 11,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
