What's Happening?
Michigan State University Extension, in partnership with the MSU Center for Regenerative Agriculture, has announced a new webinar series focused on regenerative agriculture. The 2026 Regenerative Agriculture Winter Webinar Series will consist of six sessions held in February, aimed at promoting sustainable farming practices. The series is open to farmers, landowners, and agricultural professionals, offering expert-led discussions on topics such as grazing in cropping systems, cover crops, and strategic tillage. The initiative seeks to enhance soil health, water quality, and farm resilience.
Why It's Important?
This webinar series is an important step in advancing regenerative agriculture, which is gaining attention as a sustainable approach to farming. By focusing
on practices that improve soil health and biodiversity, the series supports efforts to create more resilient agricultural systems. This initiative can help farmers adopt practices that reduce environmental impact and improve long-term productivity. As interest in sustainable agriculture grows, educational programs like this play a crucial role in equipping stakeholders with the knowledge and tools needed to implement effective strategies.
