Matt Lederer has been appointed as the Director of Acquisitions at The Sirius Hotel Group, formerly known as Resident Hotels. This appointment comes as the company undergoes a rebranding and aims to expand its portfolio significantly. Lederer brings extensive
experience from his previous roles, including Senior Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and Development Director at Marriott International. At Marriott, he contributed to the growth of brands such as Moxy, Residence Inn, and Courtyard by Marriott. Most recently, he served as Hotel Acquisitions Director at Castleforge, a private equity firm. The Sirius Hotel Group plans to grow its portfolio by more than 20 hotels over the next six to ten years, aiming to operate over 30 hotels. The group has a strong track record in developing and repositioning hotels, highlighted by the successful conversion of Four Points Flex by Sheraton properties and the performance of The Resident Edinburgh.
