Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef recently transformed into 'Gaydream Island' as part of a full island takeover event celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. The event was organized in collaboration with Planetdwellers, an Australian LGBTQIA+ travel agency,
and welcomed 400 guests from across Australia. The five-day, four-night celebration featured a variety of entertainment, leisure, and wellness activities. Guests enjoyed themed parties, live performances by drag artists and DJs, and a range of on-island experiences such as rainforest hikes, beach volleyball, yoga, and meditation. The event also offered optional watersport activities like snorkeling and jet skiing, along with pop-up dining experiences and on-site retail options.
