Vistra Corp. and Meta have announced a 20-year power purchase agreement to provide over 2,600 megawatts of zero-carbon energy from Vistra's nuclear plants to support Meta's operations. This agreement involves
three nuclear plants in the PJM region, including Perry and Davis-Besse in Ohio and Beaver Valley in Pennsylvania. The deal includes 2,176 MW of existing generation and an additional 433 MW from planned upgrades, marking the largest nuclear uprates supported by a corporate customer in the U.S. The collaboration aims to extend the operational life of these plants by 20 years, fostering economic development and job creation in the region.
