Berehanu Wendemu Tsegu of Ethiopia emerged victorious in the 31st Prague International Marathon, finishing the race in 2 hours, 5 minutes, and 51 seconds. Tsegu managed to pull away from his closest competitor, Justus Kipkorir Limo of Kenya, in the final
kilometers of the race. Felix Kipkoech, also from Kenya, secured the second position for the second consecutive year, while Andualem Belay Shiferaw of Ethiopia finished third. In the women's category, Millicent Jelimo claimed victory with a time of 2:24:19. The marathon, a significant event in the international athletics calendar, drew participants from around the world.
