Honeywell Aerospace Technologies has announced plans to expand the manufacturing of its F124 jet engines at its Phoenix, Arizona facility. The expansion includes on-site assembly of the F124-GA-200 engines, which are intended for the Beechcraft M-346N
jet trainer, part of the U.S. Navy's Undergraduate Jet Training System (UJTS) program. This move allows Honeywell to co-locate production with its existing engineering and design center, supporting the UJTS program. The company anticipates building over 400 F124 engines in the next 13 years.
