a marketplace where schools can sell collected plastic to recycling companies. Additionally, Rôbalôtô has developed 'solar bags'—backpacks equipped with photovoltaic film, a battery, and LED lights—to provide electricity for students in rural areas. The company also runs 'environmental clubs' in schools to educate students on waste sorting and recycling. Rôbalôtô's efforts have been recognized with the Francophone Africa Prize at the Africa Climate Innovation Challenge 2025 and as the ISC3 Start-up of the Month for May 2026.
