Lexus has launched the eighth-generation ES series in the United States, featuring both hybrid and battery-electric variants. The new lineup includes the ES 350h hybrid, alongside the brand's first battery-electric models, the ES 350e and ES 500e. These
vehicles are built on a new multi-pathway platform, which is Lexus's first to accommodate both internal combustion and battery-electric powertrains within a single architecture. The ES 350h utilizes Lexus's sixth-generation hybrid system, combining a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with electric motors to deliver a total of 244 horsepower. Notably, this model offers all-wheel drive for the first time, powered by a 54-horsepower rear-axle motor. The battery-electric models, ES 350e and ES 500e, feature a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and are available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. Pricing for the ES 350h starts at $49,700, with the all-wheel drive variant priced at $51,100. The battery-electric ES 350e starts at $47,500, while the ES 500e is priced from $50,500. Deliveries of the ES 350h are expected to begin in June 2026.
