What's Happening?
In a thrilling high school softball game, Wolcott defeated Watertown 6-5, thanks to a sacrifice fly by Lia Ladd that scored Lilly Spina in the bottom of the seventh inning. Spina had an impressive performance, going 3-for-4 with two singles and a triple.
Caitlyn Grabel pitched for Watertown, allowing six hits and six runs, three of which were earned. In other sports action, Fairfield Warde's baseball team triumphed over St. Joseph with a score of 6-3. Nick Crosley contributed to Fairfield Warde's victory with a single and a run, while Jake Coppola and Henry Vincent each added an RBI. Nate Walsh of St. Joseph had two singles and an RBI.
