Pulsar Helium Inc. has welcomed new legislation in Minnesota that updates the state's regulatory framework for gas extraction projects, specifically advancing helium production. Signed into law by Governor Tim Walz, this legislation provides a clearer
pathway for the development of Pulsar's Topaz Project in Northeastern Minnesota. The new rules are designed to facilitate responsible helium production while maintaining environmental protections. This development comes as Pulsar concludes its Jetstream exploration and appraisal program, which has shown promising results with high-pressure gas encounters in drilled wells. The company is now planning to drill additional production wells to meet the urgent demand for helium, exacerbated by global supply disruptions due to geopolitical tensions and export controls.
