In a thrilling high school basketball matchup, the Torrington girls basketball team emerged victorious against Naugatuck with a 45-40 win in overtime. Annabel O'Marra was instrumental in Torrington's success, scoring 16 points. On the opposing side, Callie Crosswait led Naugatuck with 10 points. In boys basketball, Shepaug's James Kersten scored an impressive 33 points, leading his team to a 79-68 victory over Housatonic. Drew Konik and Tagan Sivick contributed 15 and 13 points respectively for Shepaug, while Anthony Foley and Anthony Labbadia led Housatonic with 22 and 18 points.
