Iraqi telecommunications company Asiacell has announced a new partnership with local OTT and streaming platform 1001 to enhance its subscriber packages with entertainment content. This collaboration will allow Asiacell users to access 1001's 'Fadshi'
Ultimate Lite Package, which includes localized LaLiga coverage, premium access to OSN+, and content from regional companies such as Starzplay, Al Sharqiya, Roya Media Group, and Rotana. Additionally, 1001's original local productions will be available. For Asiacell's premium customers, a higher-tier package will include major football leagues like the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League, along with a wide array of entertainment from Paramount+ and other international studios. Asiacell's Chief Commercial Officer, Chra Hussain, emphasized that this partnership will boost the company's digital ecosystem and support Iraq's creative economy.
