PepsiCo, Inc. has introduced a new functional ready-to-drink (RTD) tea under its Pure Leaf brand, in collaboration with gymnast Jordan Chiles. The product, named Pure Leaf Mental Focus, is a sparkling iced tea formulated with 69 mg of naturally occurring
caffeine and L-theanine, an amino acid known to support mental focus. Available in peach and raspberry flavors, the tea aims to meet the growing consumer demand for beverages that offer both flavor and functional benefits. According to Zach Harris, vice president and general manager of Pepsi Lipton Tea Partnership North America, the product is designed to cater to busy lifestyles by providing a convenient and beneficial beverage option.
