Loyola's lacrosse team clinched the Southern Section Division 1 championship with a decisive 14-6 victory over Santa Margarita. This win marks Loyola's third title since the sport was recognized as a championship event in the Southern Section. The team's
success is attributed to their strong defensive play, led by senior defenders Chase Hellie and Everett Rolph, and junior goalkeeper William Russo. Senior Cash Ginsberg was a standout performer, scoring five goals, while junior Tripp King added two more, showcasing the team's offensive prowess.
