What's Happening?
1upHealth has successfully deployed all four APIs mandated by the CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization Final Rule (CMS-0057-F) well ahead of the January 1, 2027 deadline. This deployment positions 1upHealth as a leader in health data interoperability,
allowing its health plan customers to be the first in the nation to meet these federal standards. The APIs include Patient Access, Payer-to-Payer Data Exchange, Provider Access, and Electronic Prior Authorization. These tools are designed to streamline data exchange, reduce administrative friction, and enhance real-time visibility into health data usage. The 1up Console now offers real-time API usage monitoring and simplified CMS compliance reporting, while the 1up Dev Portal facilitates secure data exchange registration and management.
