What's Happening?
Elbit Systems' FUSE division, in partnership with Mistral Inc., will supply the THOR Group 2 uncrewed aircraft system to the US Army. The THOR system is a backpack-portable, fully autonomous multirotor aircraft designed for rapid deployment. It will provide
small tactical units with an organic aerial capability for missions such as reconnaissance, surveillance, target acquisition, and resupply. The system features autonomous takeoff and landing, modular payloads, and a maximum endurance of 70 minutes. The US Army's selection of THOR reflects confidence in the system's maturity and adaptability.
