What's Happening?
PVV Infra Ltd., an infrastructure company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ITC Services Company Ltd. from Taiwan. This partnership focuses on the development and manufacturing of solar
cells, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), micro-inverters, and smart power electronics. The collaboration aims to complete technology transfer and production within 14 to 18 months, enhancing PVV Infra's capabilities in renewable energy manufacturing. The project, valued at over INR 1,000 crore, qualifies as a Mega Project, making it eligible for state subsidies. This initiative is expected to boost domestic production, reduce import dependency, and create significant employment opportunities.
