What's Happening?
Four Boston College women's lacrosse players have been named to the prestigious Tewaaraton Award Watch List for 2026. The players include defender Shea Baker, goalie Shea Dolce, defender Lydia Colasante
Jr., and attacker Marissa White. The Tewaaraton Award is an annual honor given to the best men's and women's college lacrosse players in the nation. The watch list initially includes 100 players, 50 men and 50 women, which will be narrowed down to 25 nominees, then five finalists, and eventually, the winners. The award ceremony is scheduled for May 28 in Washington, D.C. Last year, the award was won by UNC attacker Chloe Humphrey and Cornell attackman CJ Kirst. Dolce was a finalist for the women's award last year, alongside former Eagles attacker Rachel Clark.
Why It's Important?
Being named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List is a significant recognition for the Boston College players, highlighting their talent and potential in collegiate lacrosse.
