What's Happening?
Quantum Advisory, a consultancy specializing in pensions and employee benefits, has retained its position as a signatory to the Financial Reporting Council’s (FRC) UK Stewardship Code. The Code, which is voluntary, represents a significant benchmark for best practices in investment stewardship, covering £57.3 trillion in assets under management. Quantum is among 19 service providers in the UK that have met the Code's standards, which aim to promote transparency and integrity in business practices. The company emphasizes its commitment to high governance standards and responsible stewardship, as articulated by Jayna Bhullar, Senior Investment Consultant and Head of ESG at Quantum.
Why It's Important?
Quantum Advisory's continued alignment with the UK Stewardship
Code highlights the growing emphasis on responsible investment practices and governance in the financial sector. As a signatory, Quantum demonstrates its commitment to maintaining high standards of transparency and accountability, which are crucial for building trust with clients and stakeholders. This development is significant for the U.S. financial industry as it reflects broader trends towards sustainable and ethical investment practices. Companies that adhere to such standards are better positioned to attract investors who prioritize environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.
