Jasmila Žbanić, the director of the Oscar and BAFTA-nominated film 'Quo Vadis, Aida?', has announced a sequel titled 'Quo Vadis, Aida? – The Missing Part'. The sequel, which has begun filming in Bosnia and Herzegovina, continues the story in the aftermath
of the fall of Srebrenica in 1995. The narrative follows Aida as she searches for her sons, believed to be held in a camp by Serbian forces. The film explores themes of hope, justice, and the political deceptions faced by displaced women. Jasna Đuričić reprises her role as Aida, joined by an international cast. Indie Sales will handle international sales, with the film expected to be released in Spring 2027.
