Toyota has introduced the bZ4X Touring, a new battery electric vehicle, in Japan. This model is designed for families and outdoor activities, offering 1.4 times more cargo space than the standard bZ4X, with a 619-litre capacity. It boasts a driving range
of 734 km on a single charge. The vehicle measures 4,830 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. The front-wheel drive variant is priced at JP¥5.75 million, while the all-wheel drive model costs JP¥6.4 million. The 4WD version delivers a maximum system output of 280 kW, enabling acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. It features X-MODE, a system developed by Subaru Corporation, for driving on rough terrain. The vehicle is equipped with battery preconditioning technology for rapid charging and includes Toyota Safety Sense and Advanced Drive functions.
