What's Happening?
The Charlevoix Circle of Arts, in collaboration with the Charlevoix Photography Club, is set to host its 17th annual juried photography exhibition. The event will run from April 24 through May 30, showcasing a diverse array of photographic styles across
seven categories: landscape, animals, flora, people, still life, black and white, and creative. The exhibition will feature works from local photographers and club members, providing a platform for artists to display their talents. An opening reception and awards ceremony is scheduled for April 24 from 5 to 7 p.m., where guests can meet the artists, enjoy refreshments, and witness the announcement of award winners. The exhibition will be juried by Kim Mettler, a professional photographer from Boyne City with nearly two decades of experience. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each category, along with honorable mentions.
